Founded in 2009, Shannon Hunt groups objective is to introduce inovative and revolutionary products to the outdoor world. Alabama natives and outdoor enthusiats, we all have a passion for hunting and a responsibilty to aid in the awarness of wildlife conservation.

History

The original concept was developed by Tim Hunt approximately 16 years ago. Being a lifelong hunter, He started working with lights in 1992 to enhance the color of blood. Even though lights of certain color will make blood look oily or shiny, He wanted to go a step further. The question Tim wanted to answer for everyone was: what if there is not any blood where you shot the animal? Then what? As time progressed and several different products were tested, He was able to find a product to create a trail with no blood present. In 2006, Tim took his idea to the ATA Show in Atlanta, GA. His results were overwhelming. The big game hunters loved it! At that time he was still trying to develop the perfect carrying device for the pigment.

Tim was lucky enough to meet Hank Parker at this show. Hank introduced him to Rick Forrest, a NASA Space Engineer. SOME PRODUCTS DO REQUIRE ROCKET SCIENCE. Rick is the developer of the SWHACKER BROADHEAD. Tim and Rick have spent the past 2 years perfecting a carrying device. In bow hunting, regardless of what can be produced nothing is as important as arrow flight. In October 2008, the IllumAnator cartridge was born.
